The successful candidate will have:

  • The ability to be a positive role model for students
  • Successful experience of working with secondary aged young people in a school or relevant setting
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Experience of working with young people on raising their attainment and an understanding of the “barriers to learning”
  • Commitment to working with students from a wide range of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills
