Job Summary

The Retail Pharmacist ensures that our patients\\\’ needs are met with remarkable customer service. The Pharmacist provides patients with excellent product knowledge, effective service, and an approachable attitude.

Core Job Duties

• Dispense medical cannabis medications based on patient\\\’s physician recommendations
• Conduct individual patient consultations to determine the best therapy in conjunction with physician recommendations
• Maintain inventory control and rotate stock as needed
• Submit and review the state prescription monitoring program
• Comply with state laws as regulated by the state medical cannabis program
• Maintain records and remove outdated or damaged drugs from the dispensary inventory
• Supervise the work results of support personnel; maintain current pharmacist registration
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
• Support marketing content creation on a per-project basis

Required Experience, Education and Skills

• Bachelor\\\’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• 1+ years experience working in a pharmacy setting assisting patients/customers
• An active pharmacist license in good standing registered in the state
• Excellent customer service skills
• Satisfactory completion of any State required Medical Cannabis education programs
• Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body
• Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public
• Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry
