The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be responsible for assisting the management team to deliver a wide range of capital and maintenance projects with a focus on budgetary control and management. You will also work closely with the finance team to develop and monitor both operational and capital budgets and spend.
Main Duties

Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts

Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation

Managing and valuing variations

Assist in the production of pre-contract take-off, interim valuations and final accounts.

Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts

Support the Projects Manager and Projects Director with the logistical, technical and commercial management of the projects to meet the overall business objectives

Assist in the preparation and ongoing monitoring of operational and capital annual budgets.

Support the project team in the procurement, delivery, and handover of projects to achieve desired business outcomes.

Assist in the identification and mitigation of risks that may adversely impact project delivery or adversely affect airport operations through the project/programme lifecycle.

Positively influence key stakeholders (both internal & external) associated with projects.

Construction/ Quantity Surveying degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience

Experience of managing all aspects of cost control in construction projects

Experience of managing contractors/ consultants and managing budgets

Proven supervisory/ people management experience[‘
