The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

They are seeking to add a Junior Project Supervisor to the team, who will primarily be responsible for assisting the Project Supervisor (Civils), for the delivery of all civils elements of the project.

Working hours 8am – 4pm

Salary £30,000 – 40,000

Main Duties

  • Supporting the Project Supervisor with daily operations as required.

  • Acting as the first point of contact on site for specialist subcontractors.

  • Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site; QA.

  • Support the project team in the design, procurement, construction, delivery and handover of the project to achieve the desired outcomes.

  • Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.

  • Monitoring and interpreting the construction design drawings supplied by the architect and engineers.

  • Day-to-day point of contact for contractor (s) and facilitate communication between all departments, business partners, consultants and contractors. This will involve daily and weekly briefings with accurate record keeping. These briefings will include information and commination of look ahead schools to stakeholders.

  • Planning the work and efficiently organising the site facilities in order to meet agreed targets.

  • Positively influence key stakeholders (both internal & external) associated with the project.

  • Play an active part in the lessons identified process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Reviewing quality control as per project requirements.

  • Contribute and work to the development and maintenance of a culture of excellent health, safety and environmental standards across the project and its associated contractors to deliver the highest levels of health, safety and environmental performance achievable.

  • Preparing reports as required for the project manager.

  • Pro – active approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise and associated reporting to project manager.

  • Assist in all emergency incident management situations as directed by the Operations Duty Management Team.

  • Participate in crisis management/business recovery procedures which in exceptional circumstances can result in being "called in" in the event of a major incident.
