Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role within their commercial team. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of significant projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with the operational team, you will provide strategic commercial leadership while supporting and mentoring junior surveyors within the business. Based primarily in Co. Antrim, flexible working arrangements are on offer with the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the commercial delivery of major construction and fit-out projects.
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Providing commercial guidance to project teams and senior management.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining the highest standards.
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the commercial team.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise value and minimise commercial risk.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years' experience within a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Proven experience working for a main contractor and/or fit-out contractor.
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects from inception through to final account.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (BSc preferred) or equivalent.
