Antrim contractor seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/ Project Manager. Based primarily in Head Office in the Greater Belfast area, you will play an integral role within the business and be a main point of contact for clients. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing
- Prepare Bills of Material.
- Preparation of purchase requisitions.
- Communicate with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Manage Subcontractors to ensure that all components supplied meet the relevant building regulations and contractual requirements.
- Agree design approvals and maintain relevant document transmittal records.
- Work with the Design and Sales team on commercial issues such as project proposals, estimates, operational planning.
- Maintain contact and relationships with clients and staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
The Person:
- 3-5 years' experience minimum in a construction related environment.
- Familiarity with building regulations and contract documents.
- Flexible and adaptable approach as part of a small team.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and staff.
- Ability to organise and prioritise personal workload.
- Commercial awareness and negotiating skills.
- 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
