A Specialist Contractor based in Belfast has a new Project QS role available. The company has been delivering the very best in bespoke solutions to both Private and Public sector clients across multiple markets, including Office & Commercial, Public Sector, High-End Residential & Retail.

Based fulltime in NI, you will carry out the following:

  • Managing all commercial aspects of the project, reporting directly to the operations & commercial directors.
  • Producing monthly valuations and applications, for direct submittal to our clients.
  • Managing monthly commercial reporting.
  • All aspects relating to bulk material procurement.
  • Sub-contract procurement.
  • Managing "variation to contract" accounts.
  • Producing & managing direct labour payments.

Candidate Requirements

  • Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator with minimum 2-3 years' experience.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Good communication skills and presentable appearance.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management, including direct contact with our clients.
  • Ability to work to programmes and deadlines, and be flexible to adapt to change.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
  • Knowledge of the Building and Construction industry.
  • Experienced in managing direct and sub-contract labour.
