The CSR Group are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager with experience in the structural steel industry. Our Client have offices on the North coast and new premises just outside Belfast. This family run company have created this new role to combat an increase in turnover and a projection of more work to come. They are market leader in structural steel design, fabrication and erection, across many sectors, UK wide. Salary £55 65k plus package Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules from tender to final handover. Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and engineers, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives. Oversee subcontractor selection, on-site progress, and the implementation of Passive Fire Protection Systems in factory and on-site environments. Stakeholder and Resource Management: Act as the primary contact for clients, designers, suppliers, and internal teams. Communicate project updates and resolve issues during the lifecycle. Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, while overseeing procurement processes. Risk and Quality Management: Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality protocols through inspections, audits, and robust assurance measures. Contract and Team Management: Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and negotiating changes as needed. Lead on-site teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining strong leadership. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, financials, and deviations. Provide regular reports on status, budgets, and timelines to upper management. Additional Duties: Travel across the UK as required ensuring project success (2 to 3 days a month). Promote safety compliance and behaviour in the workplace. Contribute to team-driven continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to company policies and procedures. Perform any necessary tasks to support successful project delivery.
