This role offers a base pay range of up to £45,000 FTE per annum, depending on experience, with generous discretionary bonuses after successful probation. You will also benefit from remote working, a local government pension scheme, 38 days holiday (including additional days for Christmas and bank holidays), time off volunteering, enhanced leave packages, wellbeing support, social events, and the ability to travel for client visits.
Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement process for contracts across facilities, estates, finance, curriculum, ICT, and other projects and services.
- Embed best practice, efficiency, and effectiveness within procurement processes, ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation.
- Provide proactive, comprehensive procurement advice and support to all levels of personnel.
- Manage relationships between clients and suppliers.
- Work onsite with educational clients to deliver a full procurement and tendering service, requiring regular travel to client premises.
Qualifications & Person Specification
We are looking for someone with procurement experience within the public sector or education sector and knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Act 2023. Applicants must be able to travel and have public sector tendering experience.
