Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the Building Cleaning and other associated "Place" related frameworks, ensuring risk, relationships and service levels are delivered.
- Conduct the procurement cycle from business planning and pre‑market engagement through to tendering, contract management, stakeholder engagement and performance monitoring.
- Provide mentoring support to Senior Procurement Officers & Procurement Officers and deliver comprehensive procurement services to all members.
Qualifications
- Extensive procurement experience within the public sector, with detailed knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and experience in the education sector.
- Ability to develop and tender high‑value frameworks and contracts, and support members to define requirements and embed them in the award process.
- Working toward CIPS or equivalent qualifications is required.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary £38,000 – £41,000 FTE, dependent on experience
- Discretionary annual bonus up to £3,000
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and an additional three days’ Christmas closure
