As a Restaurant & Bar Manager at Crerar Hotels, you will lead our team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the highest standards in both the restaurant and bar. With experience managing high-volume establishments, you'll work closely with the General Manager and Head Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for developing the department, implementing health & safety procedures, and acting as a fire marshal when required. Your excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, will enable you to lead your team with authority while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor. You'll provide training and development opportunities, resolve customer complaints promptly, and suggest improvements to products and systems. With accountability for budgeting, stock control, and supplier relationships, you'll ensure the operation remains profitable and in line with company objectives. Your role will also include organising promotional activities and ensuring team compliance with policies and legislation. Flexibility to cover duty management is also part of the role, making it a dynamic and rewarding position.
