As a Day Porter & Concierge at Crerar Hotels, you will support our reception, housekeeping and food and beverage teams with porterage, guest services and some food & beverage service as required. You must take pride in your work, presenting yourself well and delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time role, which includes weekend shifts, covers a range of duties, including:
- Overseeing security
- Setting up function rooms for events
- Storing furniture and equipment
- Following end-of-day procedures
- Assisting with guests' food and beverage needs
- Supporting reception with porterage and guest services
- Assisting housekeeping with guest requests
With your attention to detail, you’ll ensure high standards are maintained. Personable and engaging, you will interact with guests to exceed their expectations and may be asked to assist the cleaning, bar, and reception teams or act as duty manager when required. There will also be a requirement for sickness and holiday cover for our night management team.
