About CREOATE
CREOATE is a fast-growing B2B wholesale marketplace connecting independent retailers with curated brands across the UK and Europe. We are building the infrastructure that powers modern independent retail. As we enter our next phase, our focus is on optimising marketplace liquidity, improving conversion, and strengthening forecasting discipline. This role sits at the heart of that effort.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Marketplace Strategy & Analytics Lead to own marketplace health modelling, cohort insight, and forecasting across our two-sided platform. This is not a BI reporting role. It is a commercially embedded marketplace intelligence role. You will work directly with the COO, Growth, Commercial and Engineering teams to diagnose constraints, model impact, and turn marketplace data into clear decisions.
What You Will Own
- Marketplace Health & Liquidity
- Build and maintain liquidity models across supply and demand
- Diagnose buyer/seller balance and identify active constraints
- Monitor participation and engagement metrics across both sides
- Cohort & Contribution Analysis
- Analyse buyer and seller cohorts to understand retention and GMV contribution
- Model seller portfolio quality and economic impact
- Support pricing and margin sensitivity analysis with Commercial
- Funnel & Conversion Diagnosis
- Break down funnel performance by segment (new vs repeat, ICP vs non-ICP, seller mix)
- Distinguish ecommerce friction from liquidity issue
- Support Growth with structured analysis to prioritise optimisation
- Forecasting & Scenario Modelling
- Build and maintain input-to-GMV forecasting models
- Pressure-test assumptions before planning cycles
- Improve forecast transparency and scenario modelling
- Leadership Insight
- Deliver clear, actionable insight at weekly leadership forums
- Translate data into commercial implications, not dashboards
What We Are Looking For
- 6+ years experience in a two-sided marketplace or platform business
- Strong SQL and applied analytical modelling capability. Python or R experience a plus
- Experience building cohort, liquidity, or marketplace health models
- Comfortable working with imperfect data and ambiguous environments
- Strong commercial intuition (margin, pricing, contribution economics)
- Experience working directly with COO/CEO in high-growth environments. Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
- Marketplace and E-commerce experience is a must. B2B or wholesale is a plus
What This Role Is Not
Not a pure BI or dashboard-building role. Not a marketing analytics role. Not a research-focused data science position. This is a commercially embedded, decision-driving role.
Why Join CREOATE?
- Work at the centre of a growing two-sided marketplace
- High ownership and direct leadership exposure
- Shape the operating intelligence of the business
- Competitive salary and equity
