Creo initiates and organises events and programming across three key strands: photography, film and contemporary art.
Since 2007, Creo’s mission has been to develop meaningful opportunities for creatives and expand the reach of its cultural activities.
Today, its flagship projects include the Sony World Photography Awards, Sony Future Filmmaker Awards, PHOTOFAIRS and Photo London.
Working in partnership with Angus Montgomery Arts, Creo provides support across the group’s ventures, helping to deliver some of the world’s leading art fairs.
The Sony World Photography Awards and Sony Future Filmmaker Awards draw tens of thousands of entries each year, culminating in major ceremonies, exhibitions, and workshops.
Last year the Sony World Photography Awards London exhibition attracted 20,000 visitors during its two-and-a-half-week run and toured internationally.
The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards brings 30 shortlisted filmmakers to Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles for a week of workshops, screenings, and tours, led by Sony Pictures executives, for a unique industry-immersion experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a new role within the marketing team, created to help us reach and connect with our photography and filmmaking audiences across the globe, through smart, data-driven digital marketing across search, content, email and paid media.
The Digital Marketing Executive will work closely with the Senior Content Executive, Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager to help deliver multi-channel digital marketing strategies across all World Photography Organisation and Sony Future Filmmaker Awards online platforms.
You’ll support the planning, execution and optimisation of campaigns spanning paid media, organic content, SEO, email marketing and website activity, helping to ensure activity across our digital channels is connected, insight-led and delivers measurable results.
You’ll be someone who enjoys understanding how digital marketing channels work together and is confident using data to make informed decisions.
You’re organised, analytical and an excellent writer, with the ability to communicate clearly and create compelling content for different audiences and channels.
You’ll also be eager to develop your technical marketing skills across a broad range of disciplines.
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the planning and delivery of integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, driving brand awareness, competition entries, exhibition ticket sales and audience growth.
- Work closely with colleagues across the marketing team to ensure activity across content, paid media, email, social media and the website is aligned to campaign objectives.
- Support the planning and optimisation of website and blog content to improve search visibility, audience engagement and campaign performance.
- Support the development and implementation of SEO best practice, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and content recommendations.
- Support the delivery and ongoing optimisation of paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
- Support the creation, delivery and optimisation of email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and performance reporting.
- Contribute to the development of automated customer journeys and email workflows.
- Support the day-to-day delivery of our organic social media activity, including creating and scheduling social content, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement.
- Support the monitoring and analysis of campaign performance, working with the wider marketing team to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and return on investment.
- Use website, campaign and audience data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
- Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends, platform developments and best practice, proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- BEHAVIOUR AND KNOWLEDGE
- REQUIRED
- 1+ years' experience in a digital marketing role.
- Good understanding of how digital marketing channels work together across the customer journey.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practice, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and content optimisation.
- Experience supporting paid digital campaigns (Google Ads and/or Meta Ads)
- Experience creating or supporting email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp.
- Experience updating content using a web content management system (CMS).
- Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) or similar web analytics platforms to monitor website and campaign performance.
- Experience producing or contributing to digital marketing performance reports.
- Strong analytical skills, with a naturally curious approach to understanding campaign performance and using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience creating simple digital assets in Canva or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and understanding of brand voice.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for digital marketing and a curiosity about emerging platforms, technologies and best practice.
- NON-ESSENTIAL
- A passion for photography and/or the arts.
- Experience in a marketing role in the arts or events industries.
- PRACTICALITIES
- The role is based in the company’s London office: 9 Manchester Square, London, W1U 3PL.
- We operate a hybrid model with Tuesday to Thursday based in the office and WFH Monday and Friday.
- Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
- Out of hours work at events and international travel may be required.
