Job Responsibilities:
- Source of innovation within the Data discipline, helping to evolve solutions, and provide technical support to teams/engineers and delivery.
- Working with the other discipline Leads, Heads of department and Data Engineering team, to define, refine and prioritise technical initiatives to be delivered.
- Adapt quickly to changing environments, concepts, and emerging technologies to assist in the future roadmap of our products and consumer experiences.
- Staying abreast of the latest developments within Data Engineering
- Promote and uphold Data Engineering process standards and best practices
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for the craftsmanship and engineering aspects of software development.
- Contribute to department processes, documentation, and best practices.
- Work on Data Migrations, software implementations, CDP, Martech, Subscription Platforms
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience being part of large, complicated multifaceted delivery programs
- Experienced in Engineering processes and best practices
- Advanced experience, knowledge and understanding of SQL
- Experienced and knowledge of languages such as Python, C#.
- Expert knowledge of Cloud platforms, especially Azure.
