The Role
Glulam Timber Engineering, part of the Keystone & Wyckham Blackwell Group of Companies, is seeking aProduction Operative/Occasional Delivery Driver to join the team based at their manufacturing facility in Avonmouth.
Role Responsibilities
The Production Operative responsibilities will include:
Operate machinery and hand tools in a safe manner, adhering to Health & Safety Regulations full trainingwill be given.
Use company documentation and designs to produce required engineered timber components.
Organise cut timber efficiently to maintain production needs.
Assist in all areas of production as required.
Complete any relevant and mandatory training skills to assist with personal development and multi-skilling.
The Occasional Delivery Driver responsibilities will include:
Delivering finished goods to sites around the UK using our 3.5t flatbed vehicle.
Completing daily vehicle checks, safe loading/securing of vehicle, report maintenance defects, adhereto company servicing standards.
Assisting with loading of vehicle, adopting safe lifting & handling procedures.
Ensure that the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
Completing delivery paperwork.

Previous experience in our industry, along with a forklift license, would be advantageous but is not essential full training will be given to the successful applicant.
