CREM Recruitment are recruiting a number of Warehouse Operatives based in Newmarket to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client is a well-established name within the logistics industry and offers excellent training and career progression. Hours of work are 7 am to 5 pm, 5 days from 7 including weekends. Overtime is available during busy periods.
Duties will include:
- Loading and unloading containers
- Picking and packing orders
- Inspect products for any damage and promptly report discrepancies
- Maintain a tidy and well-organised work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures to prevent injury and ensure food safety standards are met
- Work closely with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
Skills and Experience required:
- Good eye for detail
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25KG
- Previous experience in warehousing or manual handling roles preferred
- Comfortable working in cold environments (between 0°C and 5°C)
