CREM Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for our e-commerce client based just outside Saffron Walden (CB10). You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Warehouse, managing a small team ensuring picking and despatch of guaranteed next day delivery orders.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with third-party transport providers to streamline operations and improve service levels.
- Be prepared to operate as part of the warehouse operational team during busy periods to ensure that orders are picked and despatched on time.
- Manage workload across the team to ensure that Goods-In, Pick / Pack and Despatch are always fully manned, stepping in when required.
- Manage stock effectively making sure that inventory controls are kept up to date.
Skills:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of barcode and scan picking and stock management.
- Significant experience in complex picking environments.
- Experience with oversized product picking.
- Strong stock and inventory management experience (in excess of 20,000 SKU).
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operational warehouse professional, you will be leading the team from the front with very limited time spent outside of the operation.
