Crem Recruitment are recruiting for a Forklift Operative to join their busy client within the manufacturing industry.
Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour
Hours: Full time weekly rotating shifts:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
- Week 2: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Applicants must hold an in-date RTITB Counterbalance licence. Reach licence would also be advantageous.
Duties will include:
- Safely operating Counterbalance forklifts, Reach trucks and pallet trucks
- Offloading raw materials from lorries and storing within the warehouse
- Collecting and storing finished products from production and packing
- Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch
- Stock control and inventory management, including stock takes
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
- Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures
Skills and Experience Required:
- In-date RTITB licences Counterbalance essential, Reach desirable
- VNA licence beneficial but not essential
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience working with hazardous materials advantageous
- Good numeracy and communication skills
- Reliable and efficient team player
- Good IT skills, with SAP or warehouse management system experience advantageous
