Our established client based in Haverhill is currently looking for Production Operatives who are passionate about delivering the highest standards of food production, ensuring all health and food safety measures are followed. Hours of work are:
- Monday to Friday: 2pm - 10pm
Salary: £13 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate safely and follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures, wearing protective equipment correctly.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specification standards.
- Unpack, pack, load, and unload boxes, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Support general tasks including waste processing, order packing, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Maintain facility hygiene, including floors, walls, conveyors, and equipment, following a clean as you go approach.
- Adhere to strict personal presentation requirements: no jewellery, piercings, false nails, false lashes, or strong perfumes/aftershaves.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
- Willing to work with raw ingredients, including meat.
- Reliable and punctual, with a consistent approach to work.
