Our client is currently looking to recruit an Electromechanical Engineer to work at their busy food production site on the outskirts of Saffron Walden (CB10). This is a busy and expanding manufacturing plant, and due to the nature of the work required, you will be expected to undertake physical tasks in a dusty environment on a regular basis.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 p/a, subject to experience.
Duties:
- Drive efficient and effective PPM schedules.
- Identify and undertake improvements to the site in a proactive fashion.
- Swiftly solve unplanned downtime and breakdowns.
- Operate welding equipment for general maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Liaise with all members of the site management team.
Skills and Experience:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience. (required)
- Working knowledge of PPM systems. (required)
- Automated Manufacturing Experience (required)
- FMCG - Food Experience. (preferred)
- Welding Experience (preferably Stick, TIG and MIG)
- FLT Licence - Counterbalance (preferred)
