Our client is a leading global manufacturing company within the food and additives industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Controller to join their busy manufacturing facility in Little Walden.

Monday to Thursday 8:00am β 5:00pm Friday 7:00am β 4:00pm
The Role
As a Quality Assurance Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with production teams, you will provide day-to-day quality support, complete inspections and audits, and ensure products meet customer, legal, and company requirements.
You will play a key role in supporting the Quality Management System, promoting a strong food safety culture, and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor GMP, hygiene, and site standards, communicating audit findings to the Quality Supervisor/Manager and Operations team.
- Complete hygiene, fabric, foreign body, CCP, glass and hard plastic, and other site quality audits.
- Support the maintenance of the company Quality Management System, including procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Complete traceability audits in line with schedules and customer requirements.
- Support quality systems and assist with accreditation maintenance.
- Carry out allergen, cleaning, and environmental swabbing activities, including validation checks.
- Complete intake checks at the entrance to production and maintain supplier non-conformance records.
- Monitor cleaning activities to ensure site standards and compliance are maintained.
- Assist with audit preparation, completion of findings, and CAPA actions.
- Support Quality and Food Safety training across the site.
- Assist with investigations into customer complaints, deviations, and non-conforming products.
