Maintenance Engineer Multi Skilled in Saffron Walden

Job description

Our client is currently looking to recruit an Electromechanical Engineer to work at their busy food production site on the outskirts of Saffron Walden (CB10). This is a busy and expanding manufacturing plant, and due to the nature of the work required, you will be expected to undertake physical tasks in a dusty environment on a regular basis.

Salary

£40,000 – £50,000 p/a, subject to experience.

Duties

• Drive efficient and effective PPM schedules.
• Identify and undertake improvements to the site in a proactive fashion.
• Swiftly solve unplanned downtime and breakdowns.
• Operate welding equipment for general maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Liaise with all members of the site management team.

Skills and Experience

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience. (required)
• Working knowledge of PPM systems. (required)
• Automated Manufacturing Experience (required)
• FMCG – Food Experience. (preferred)
• Welding Experience (preferably Stick, TIG and MIG)
• FLT Licence – Counterbalance (preferred)
