We are currently recruiting several Production Operatives to join our client based just outside Bury St Edmunds.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for assembling products to the client's specifications, working from technical drawings, schematics, and basic assembly instructions. The role involves using a range of hand tools, maintaining high levels of accuracy, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. You will work closely with your team, follow instructions carefully, and communicate any issues effectively to maintain smooth production.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Assembling components accurately using hand tools
- Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets
- Listening carefully, following instructions, and communicating any issues clearly
- Maintaining strong attention to detail to minimise errors and ensure quality outcomes
- Managing time effectively to meet daily production deadlines
- (Nice to have) Wiring and connecting electrical components
- (Nice to have) Carrying out basic inspection checks to ensure products meet required standards
- (Nice to have) Using analytical skills to identify issues and support problem-solving during assembly
Hours & Pay
Full-time, temporary ongoing Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. From £13.00 to £14.00 per hour - depending on experience.
