We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK offsite construction specialist, we are seeking reliable and motivated Semi-Skilled Operatives to join a growing manufacturing team outside of Newmarket. About the Role: Salary: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a company at the forefront of sustainable construction, delivering high-quality modular and panelised buildings. As a Semi-Skilled Operative, you will play a key role in the preparation and assembly of timber/metal components, supporting production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities * Cutting and preparing timber/metal panels and roof cassettes. * Assembling components to detailed design specifications. * Ensuring quality control standards are met throughout production. * Adhering to all site health and safety requirements, including PPE use. * Maintaining good housekeeping and care of tools/equipment. * Working as part of a friendly and collaborative manufacturing team. What we are looking for: * Minimum 1 year experience in a semi-skilled or hands-on production role. * Previous experience in modular build, timber frame, or offsite construction (advantageous). * Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Keen to learn and develop within the role. * Must have access to reliable transport.
