Are you an experienced food manufacturing professional looking for your next step within Quality Assurance and Training?
Our client, a successful food manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Cambridge, is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Quality Assurance & Training Coordinator to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This role would suit someone with previous QA/QC experience within food manufacturing, or an experienced food manufacturing candidate who has a strong understanding of GMP, quality standards and is looking to develop their career further within a quality-focused position.
Working closely with the production team, you will support the site in maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
The role will involve a combination of hands-on factory checks, GMP auditing, quality paperwork, updating procedures and delivering training to colleagues.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment (essential).
- Experience within QA, QC, auditing or quality-related activities (preferred).
- A good understanding of GMP and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to train and engage colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to identify improvements.
- The confidence to work hands-on within a factory environment.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Due to the location, your own transport is essential.
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
