The Role Working as part of an experienced workshop team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs. * Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults. * Conducting MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards, where qualified. * Undertaking repairs involving brakes, suspension, steering, clutches, timing belts and engine components. * Completing manufacturer warranty repairs and associated documentation. * Carrying out vehicle health checks and preparing accurate digital reports. * Preparing used vehicles to the required standards. * Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction. About You We are looking for a capable and reliable Vehicle Technician who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have: * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Essential. * Ideally, at least four years of automotive experience. * Previous experience within a franchised dealership or established independent workshop. * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. * A full UK driving licence. * A current Class 4 MOT Tester licence would be advantageous, although training may be considered for the right candidate. * A professional approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Previous experience with the manufacturer's vehicles is not required, as full training will be provided.
