Crem Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Suffolk that relies on a well-run stores and logistics function to keep production moving and customers supplied. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys responsibility, structure and being trusted to get on with the job.
The role:
- A dual position combining stores and warehouse operations with relief driving duties
- A key support role linking the warehouse, production floor and outbound deliveries
- A practical, day-to-day position where organisation and reliability are essential
Key responsibilities:
- Moving goods between stores, warehouse and production areas
- Picking, loading and supplying materials to support manufacturing activity
- Manual handling of items up to 25kg as part of normal operations
- Operating a counterbalance forklift once trained, with training provided
- Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised stores and warehouse environment
- Acting as a relief delivery driver when required, covering UK-wide routes
- Driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle as standard, with 7.5 tonne driving for those appropriately licensed
- Representing the business professionally when on customer sites and deliveries
