This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering long-term career development within a large organisation. This Production Counterbalance Operative position offers excellent career progression and the chance to grow within a stable, supportive environment. Some of the duties include: · Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a fast-paced production environment · Supporting the crew to set up jobs quickly and efficiently · Ensuring Health & Safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained · Executing tasks in line with specification sheets and production instructions · Loading/unloading goods and stacking pallets ready for dispatch · Ensuring all pallets are presented to a first-class standard · Reporting any mechanical issues immediately to the Machine Operator · General housekeeping duties · Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude · Heavy lifting required Requirements: · Must hold a valid, accredited Counterbalance FLT license (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, etc.) · Previous experience in a production or warehouse setting · Ability to work permanent night shifts following training · Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks · Reliable, team-focused, and safety-conscious Training: You will complete 3–4 weeks of day shift training before transitioning to night shifts.
