We are currently recruiting Technical Operators for a well-established food manufacturing company based near Saffron Walden. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position with a growing business, offering long-term career prospects for the right candidates. This role is ideal for candidates with previous factory or manufacturing experience who are looking to develop their technical skills in a modern production environment.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • 45 paid hours per week (all breaks are paid)

Pay: £13.45 per hour

The Role:

As a Technical Operator, you will be responsible for operating production and packing machinery while ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include:

  • Operating production and packing equipment.
  • Following manufacturing recipes and work instructions.
  • Machine operation and monitoring production processes.
  • Mixing powders and ingredients.
  • Packing finished products.
  • Completing production, quality and manufacturing records.
  • Carrying out routine equipment cleaning and basic autonomous maintenance.
