Crem Recruitment are recruiting for a Forklift Operative to join their busy client within the manufacturing industry.

Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour

Hours: Full time – weekly rotating shifts:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday – 2pm to 10pm

Applicants must hold an in-date RTITB Counterbalance licence. Reach licence would also be advantageous.

Duties will include:

  • Safely operating Counterbalance forklifts, Reach trucks and pallet trucks
  • Offloading raw materials from lorries and storing within the warehouse
  • Collecting and storing finished products from production and packing
  • Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch
  • Stock control and inventory management, including stock takes
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience Required:

  • In-date RTITB licences – Counterbalance essential, Reach desirable
  • VNA licence beneficial but not essential
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Experience working with hazardous materials advantageous
  • Good numeracy and communication skills
  • Reliable and efficient team player
  • Good IT skills, with SAP or warehouse management system experience advantageous
