Job Description:

Are you a natural problem solver with strong business analysis skills and a genuine curiosity for how technology and data can unlock value? Are you passionate about translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements?

We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a solid grounding in data - someone who understands how data is structured, used, and transformed, and can confidently bridge the gap between stakeholders and delivery teams on critical, high-impact projects.

If you combine analytical rigour with technical curiosity - and enjoy getting into the detail while keeping sight of the bigger picture - this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

This is a permanent role within our Managing Consultant practice, based out of our London office. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model, typically requiring three days per week onsite - either at client locations or in your local office. We value collaboration and client impact, and our approach is designed to balance flexibility with in-person connection to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.

Given the nature of our work, you will work closely with clients and should be comfortable with UK and occasional international travel. To meet client requirements, you will also need to be eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities and Skills

- Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements to support delivery of technology solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring alignment between business and technology teams.
- Analyse current state processes, systems, and data flows where relevant, supporting the design of effective target state solutions.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive decisions.
- Ensure requirements traceability, support testing activities, and act as the key interface between business and technology teams, including validating outputs where data is a key component.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see the “big picture” across business processes, systems, and data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You will be required to hold active SC clearance for this role.

Desirable skills

- Experience working with modern data platforms, with an understanding of concepts such as data modelling, data integration, and how data is used across systems and reporting.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
- Experience working in agile environments (e.g. sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Proficiency with data and reporting tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with agile and collaboration tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint).
- Relevant certifications (e.g. BCS/ISEB Business Analysis, Scrum, SAFe, or CDMP).
- Experience in using AI in application of the role through advanced prompting techniques.
