I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded legal practice in Glasgow that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Paralegal to join its busy and successful Property team.

The Role As a Residential Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters while providing an efficient, professional and client-focused service throughout every stage of the transaction.

Your responsibilities will include

Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.

  • Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of title and new build transactions.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
  • Examining title deeds and carrying out title investigations.
  • Preparing and submitting registration documents to Registers of Scotland.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties.
  • Preparing settlement statements and completion documentation.
  • Ensuring transactions progress efficiently while meeting agreed timescales.
  • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance throughout each transaction.
  • Providing clear legal guidance and excellent client care throughout the conveyancing process. Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience working as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal within a Scottish law firm.

  • Strong knowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing procedures.
  • Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and excellent drafting skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads within a busy environment.
