We are currently working with a well-established legal firm to recruit a Legal Administrator to join their team in Glasgow. You’ll play an important role in supporting fee earners with the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department, helping to ensure processes, billing, and client communication are managed efficiently.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative and secretarial support across the wider team while assisting with the coordination and organisation of departmental activity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners
  • Supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department
  • Liaising with clients and handling calls on behalf of the wider team
  • Coordinating meetings, training sessions, and departmental diaries
  • Assisting with billing processes and departmental reporting
  • Supporting file reviews and legal administration processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and assisting with case management systems
  • Assisting with onboarding and training support for new team members
  • Supporting process improvements and administrative projects within the department
  • Working closely with internal teams including HR, Finance, Marketing, and IT
