Key Responsibilities- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive strategic growth, investment decisions and overall business performance.
- Drive robust financial challenge across risks, opportunities and business performance delivery, acting as a key commercial advisor to the executive team.
- Leadership of the full financial cycle, including budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, monthly management accounts and executive performance reporting.
- Weekly cashflow ownership, forecasting and control, ensuring liquidity, resilience and financial stability across the group.
- Accountability for weekly finance cadence including payment approvals, operational dashboards and resource planning oversight.
- Lead pricing strategy, commercial modelling, bid support, contract negotiation and investment appraisal activity.
- Maintain the integrity of the balance sheet, financial controls and governance across all entities.
- Ownership of statutory reporting, audit processes, VAT submissions and wider regulatory compliance obligations.
- Oversee CAPEX governance and financial evaluation of investment and growth initiatives.
- Drive finance transformation, including ERP modernisation, systems development, process improvement and MI/BI enhancement.
- Lead and develop a high-performing international finance function with a strong focus on accountability, capability and commercial ownership.
- Manage key external stakeholder relationships, including auditors, banking partners, insurers and professional advisors.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent) with proven senior finance leadership experience.
- Strong track record driving profitability, commercial performance and cash flow within fast-paced, evolving businesses.
- Commercially astute with experience influencing strategic decision-making at a senior level.
- Strong capability across forecasting, planning, financial modelling and performance analysis.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams within complex environments.
