Purpose of the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner / Forecasting Analyst for an initial 6 month contract. This role requires strong analytical capability, sound commercial understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Planning
    • Develop accurate 12–18 month demand forecasts using advanced Excel tools and consumption data.
    • Align forecasts with market activities, product launches, and commercial initiatives.
    • Provide precise demand inputs to the factory for production planning, including new product development and gifting.
  • Inventory & Order Management
    • Manage monthly customer order allocations in line with stock and production availability.
    • Produce weekly stock reports, highlighting out-of-stock items and replenishment dates.
    • Forecast repeat orders to support optimal stock levels.
  • Analysis & Continuous Improvement
    • Reconcile historical demand plans and sales forecasts at SKU and customer level.
    • Analyse sales trends and stock levels for a defined customer base.
    • Support cross-functional teams with stock and supply queries.
    • Participate in customer and factory meetings, providing data and insights.
    • Contribute to process enhancement across forecasting, reporting, and S&OP.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in forecasting or analytical roles within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of stock allocation and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • ERP experience (D365 preferred).
  • Solid experience in S&OP execution.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify actions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Commitment to working with global teams and diverse markets.
