Creed Medical is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will assist clients in their daily living activities, promote independence, and encourage social inclusion. This role involves working closely with clients to support their personal goals while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, and daily living tasks.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities and social events.
- Implement individualized support plans and accurately document client progress.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.
