About The Role

We are seeking an experienced UX/Product Designer to lead the design and optimisation of digital experiences across a portfolio of products. This role combines user experience design, product design strategy, and accessibility compliance expertise to deliver innovative digital products that meet both user needs and accessibility standards. As a UX/Product Designer, you will be responsible for guiding the complete user experience lifecycle, including initial research and customer journey mapping, to UI implementation. Sitting within the Product team, this role requires strong collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering teams. Please include your portfolio within your application and/or CV.

Key Responsibilities

  • User Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Wireframing, Prototyping & UI Design: Create low and high‑fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished user interfaces to communicate design concepts and test solutions.
  • Design System & Style Guides: Build and maintain scalable design systems and style guides that promote consistency and efficiency across product teams.
  • Accessible Design: Stay current with evolving EU regulations and other relevant legislation affecting digital products, maintaining compliance, documentation and audits across the product portfolio.
  • Cross‑functional Partnership: Work closely with product managers, engineers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Design Advocacy: Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders using data‑driven insights and user research findings.
  • Design Reviews: Facilitate design critiques and collaborative design sessions to refine and improve product solutions.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven UX/Product design experience, preferably in digital product environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong UX/UI design skills, customer journey mapping, and style guide creation.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions and research findings.
  • Expert proficiency in prototyping tools (e.g., Moqups, Figma, etc.).
  • Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, A/B testing, and data analysis.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with development teams.
  • Understanding of AI tools and their application in UX design processes.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, etc.) to measure and optimise user experiences.
  • Understanding of digital accessibility and the EU Accessibility Act & WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
