We are looking for an experienced and thoughtful Engineering Manager to join our Data Cloud team based in Dublin. This is a hybrid role, with time in the office as part of our flexible working policy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. You will lead a group of skilled engineers who are reimagining our data delivery platform to support scale, accuracy, and speed. The platform is built using AWS Redshift, S3, and Python, and is designed to handle billions of records while transforming raw data into APIâready formats.
You will help shape our platform and team cultureâsupporting others to grow, building robust systems, and driving improvements in our ways of working.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support a geographically distributed engineering team
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects using agile practices
- Provide technical leadership, particularly in AWS, Python, and data system design
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology with business needs
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and team performance
- Communicate clearly on project progress, risks, and solutions
- Help manage budgets and ensure resources are used effectively
- Promote a positive, inclusive team culture

Essential- Experience leading or managing engineering teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Technical expertise in AWS, Python, and dataâintensive systems
- Comfortable with agile methodologies and iterative delivery
- Ability to support, guide, and develop engineers at different levels
- Experience with system design and scalable infrastructure
- Ability to share knowledge and document clearly
- Strategic thinking and problemâsolving approach
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
- Experience working with data lake tools (e.g. Glue, Athena, Redshift)
- Understanding of API design and performance considerations
- Prior work in cloudânative, fastâevolving environments
