We are seeking a dedicated and organised administrator to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for supporting the engineering, stores, and all other company functions in providing effective availability and sourcing of products and services. You will manage day to day stock control transactions to ensure effective stock control and cost allocation. Maintaining accurate records for stock control, maintenance, servicing, spare parts usages and purchasing. Hours for this role are 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 15:00pm Salary: Β£20,696.00 per annum Engineering Administrator responsibilities include: Managing stocks levels within the stores department, ensuring timely and accurate stock issues and goods receipts are processed Maintain an effective system to order, issue and control PPE in a timely manner that ensures there are no unnecessary delays to employees starting shift with required PPE Placing orders for stock, seeking cost effective solutions when required while maintaining quality Interacting with suppliers and other similar businesses to ensure effective cost delivery of spare parts and services Stock accuracy, ensuring actual vs SAP stock accuracy is maintained Engineering department administration, producing reports, inputting data etc. Also supporting the wider team by picking up ad hoc but priority tasks, particular in respect of covering the wider teams absence Deputise for Engineering Stores Manager during holiday period etc., providing key KPI data for Department Heads and Senior Team Engineering Administrator requirements include: Ability to work within time constraints Identify issues and resolve by working independently or as part of a team Prioritise, manage own workload and ensure targets achieved in fast-moving environment subject to change Demonstrating a proactive approach with a high level of accuracy and commitment Problem solving and analytical skills Strong ICT skills to include Microsoft Office packages particularly Excel (essential), SAP (preferred) Previous experience of stock control responsibility in FMCG environment and customer services experience (desirable) SAP (preferred) Benefits
