About the role

We’re looking for a Field Agent to join our team to service the Nelson area. As a Field Agent, you’ll be on the frontline serving legal documents, interviewing defaulting customers face-to-face and conducting the repossession of goods in relation to debt recovery and other matters all while using your skills to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and care. This is your chance to make a real difference while enjoying the freedom of travel and working independently within your designated region.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Thrives working autonomously and remotely whilst being connected to our wider Auckland CBD team
  • A passion and drive to be resourceful and achieve team results
  • Ability to make quick and critical decisions in field and prioritise safety and risk mitigation at all times
  • Great communicator and negotiator – to be able to explain situations clearly and defuse any potential and actual threatening situations effectively and safely for all parties
  • Pays meticulous attention to detail and has a strong sense of honesty, integrity, common sense and emotional intelligence

Essential Requirements

  • Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
  • Your own reliable, well-maintained vehicle, GPS and mobile phone
  • Current, clean drivers licence and the ability to pass an annual National Police check
  • Proficiency in IT/Tablet and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • A calm, composed demeanour and the ability to manage your time effectively
