The ETF, Index & Smart Beta Business Line develops and manages index and smart beta solutions, currently managing more than €450bn in assets across ETF, index funds, and mandates. The Senior Equity ETF Strategist will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the equity ETF product segment, in collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Empower our sales force and increase both the quantity and quality of sales engagements with clients on Equity ETFs.
- Be the expert on the Equity product line, underlying stocks, and index construction.
- Produce timely content and campaigns, deliver clear use cases, portfolio construction, and implementation solutions.
- Work closely with Capital Markets to deliver liquidity analysis of our range.
- Support the creation of tangible KPI’s and NNA targets for each product segment, client segment, and region.
- Work closely with Marketing to establish campaigns, road shows, and events needed in each country and client segment.
- Identify opportunities through thought leadership, education, data analysis, and work towards effective solutions for clients.
- Share market feedback and client needs with research and innovation to develop new products.
- Create a clear “Go To Market” plan for any new product or ask.
- Monitor flows, competition, and client needs to maintain an appropriate commercial coverage and product suite.
- Partner with Content Marketing to deliver relevant content linking macro trends to product implementation themes.
- Produce research/analysis supporting the equity product range.
Candidate criteria:
- Minimal education level: Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent.
- Master’s level degree (or equivalent) in finance/engineering; CFA Charter holder a plus.
- Demonstrated track record in a high performing client-facing role.
- Technical product or functional background preferred; fundamental expert in ETF and indexing.
- Great communication skills and ability to engage across all client segments.
- Highly motivated with intellectual curiosity and detail-oriented.
- Fluency in English; other European languages a plus.
