UK HR are a team of 3 supporting a business of approximately 80 employees across two entities in London. This role would suit a candidate who has the ability to capably understand and interpret data, work with people in an HR capacity and operate in a multi-layered, complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration of all HR processes in the employee lifecycle including changes to HR systems, seeing all actions through to execution.
  • Managing the monthly payroll, benefits and pension processes in collaboration with Finance and external providers.
  • Supporting on recruitment and managing the onboarding process.
  • Managing the offboarding process.
  • Acting as the conduit between HR and Finance, preparing accurate monthly reports.
  • Leading on cyclical head office reporting requirements.
  • Ownership of training and development requirements along with ownership of the training budget and external vendor management.
  • Support the team with annual HR duties to include the annual appraisal process and compensation review.
  • Ongoing maintenance of local HR policies in line with company changes or UK legislation changes.
  • Recording and managing the payment of all invoices.
  • Participation in HR projects as necessary to drive forward HR-related initiatives to further the HR team to achieve its business objectives.
  • Participation in the CSR committees.
  • Work with HR teams in Paris on group requirements.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance and risk requirements, including, but not limited to, the Group and UK Compliance and the Financial Crime Prevention Policies.

Candidate criteria:
  • Minimal education level: Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
  • Academic qualification / Speciality: Degree in Business and/or HR Management, CIPD part-qualified.
  • Experience: 1-2 years demonstrable HR experience of working in a small HR team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required skills: Self-motivated, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, an understanding of basic payroll, tax and pensions concepts, can be relied upon to complete tasks accurately and on time, escalate issues appropriately, strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, willingness to help other members of the team in whatever way they can, pro-active approach, committed and reliable.
  • Technical skills required: Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, HR systems, excellent written and oral communication skills, fluent English (written and spoken).
