Join the Global Markets Division (GMD) as a Research Intern. This role is crucial in supporting the bank’s business through the preparation of market reports and client interactions. You will be part of a dynamic team focusing on the banking and covered bond sectors, gaining valuable insights and experience in a sell-side analyst role. This internship offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to projects that impact the business while enhancing your analytical skills in a real-world setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of regular publications by preparing documents, updating charts, and tables.
  • Maintain and enhance Excel databases, integrating and organizing data into PowerBI.
  • Assist in the development of new data products and the improvement of existing tools and models.
  • Respond to internal stakeholder requests related to the banking and covered bond sectors.

Geographical area: Europe, United Kingdom

City: London

Education: Must have graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in a Financial Institution or an Audit firm is advantageous.

Required skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to handle large data sets with precision.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Technical skills required: Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with PowerBI and Python; experience with Bloomberg is a plus.
