The Financing Sales team sits within the Global Markets division and is responsible for delivering financing and liquidity solutions to a broad range of institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies and banks. The desk plays a central role in the bank’s Fixed Income and Solutions franchise, working closely with Trading, Structuring, Coverage and Risk to provide clients with access to repo, collateral optimisation and broader balance‑sheet solutions across products and regions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of markets, funding and client strategy in a fast‑paced and highly collaborative environment. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across Financing products, client engagement and cross‑asset market dynamics while contributing directly to the growth of a strategic business for the bank.

Role Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual objectives, targets and overall team & product line budget.
  • Expand the repo & secured funding franchise across all segments of clients.
  • Identify, target and solicit current active & new clients to achieve the budget effectively.
  • Develop the portfolio of clients (Hedge funds, Asset Managers, Banks & treasury desks, Corporates).
  • Organise, prepare and conduct client meetings including other relevant stakeholders when needed.
  • Cover a wide range of secured funding products incl. repo, XCCY repo, securities lending, collateral swaps, TRS.
  • Always look to expand products knowledge (e‑learning, training, job shadow).
  • Work together with trading to maximize profitability on individual trades and the client relationship as a whole.
  • Provide high quality transactional, pricing and market feedback to the relevant trading desks and management.
  • Introduction to other Sales persons for Cross‑selling & Cross‑Border purposes by organising joint client visits.
  • Liaise with Structured desk, Senior Bankers and Relationship Managers for market opportunities.
  • Manage the bank's balance sheet usage and clients' allocations especially over quarter‑end and year‑end.
  • Manage the bank's risk by constantly checking credit lines and running simulations in internal tools.
  • Promote e‑business across the entire client base, collaborating with e‑sales to optimise business (Bondlend, TradeWeb, MTS and other platforms/tools).
  • Participate in the optimisation of the bank's trading & sales tools, e.g. booking systems, trading platforms.
  • Handle front to back queries (e.g. settlements, middle office, deliveries, collateral management).
  • Onboard new clients and get involved in each step of the process (KYC, GMRA/GMSLA, credit lines).
  • Liaise on daily/weekly basis with Legal for documents' negotiations, RPC for risk & credit lines set‑up.

Experience: Experience in the repo and/or securities lending segment; Previous experience in selling secured funding products to clients.

Required skills: Organisation, Good judgement (market risk, people), Initiative, Proactive, Technical skills required, Knowledge of Repo/Securities Lending product, Able to understand customers' needs.
