Job summary
The Global Medium Term Notes, Private Placements & Commercial Paper Group (MTNPPCP) is a globally integrated fixed income syndicate business serving CACIB's issuer and investor clients within the broader Global Markets Division. The 13-person team is based across London, Paris, Hong-Kong and Tokyo, offering around-the-clock seamless access to the full range of Capital Markets. The Group originates, structures and executes both bond and derivative trades across all currencies and tenors from overnight through to 100 years. A core pillar of the CACIB client franchise, the team closed over 5,000 trades in 2025, for a total notional in excess of €140BN making us the No.1 ranked Global MTNPP business in the world for the 5th year in a row.
Key Responsibilities:
- The candidate should assist in MTNPPCP opportunities across the entire geographical coverage of the platform with particular focus on EMEA.
- This will involve preparing possible transactions and providing market flow updates in order for MTNPPCP team members to obtain and execute mandates from the issuers.
- This will mean pricing deals, monitoring the markets, managing the deal and post-deal workflow and maintaining the team's bookings and books-and-records.
- From day one you will work on the trading floor with the team, performing business critical tasks and gaining exposure to the full spectrum of products within the bank's fixed income franchise.
- You will receive detailed training on the tasks directly from the team who have developed and refined these processes over the years.
- Once comfortable with all the processes, you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the role, improving and growing the platform as the markets evolve.
- We will support you through your growth and try to give you every opportunity to experience the wider Markets platform.
