The ETF, Index & Smart Beta Business Line develops and manages index and smart beta solutions. It currently manages more than €450bn in assets across ETF, index funds and mandates.
Within the business line, the Senior Equity ETF Strategist will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the equity ETF product segment, in close collaboration with the Responsible Indexing, Sales, Research and Innovation, Content Marketing and Client Oversight teams.
Responsibilities- Empower our sales force.
- Support and increase both the quantity and quality of sales engagements with their clients on Equity ETFs.
- Be the expert on the Equity product line, underlying stocks and index construction, including taking a leading role in client facing discussions through sales to explain our range when needed.
- Produce timely content and campaigns, deliver clear use cases, portfolio construction and implementation solutions.
- Work very closely with Capital Markets to deliver the liquidity analysis of our range.
- Alongside the Head of Equities Business Strategy, support the creation of tangible KPI’s and NNA targets for each product segment (Core, Factors, Thematic), client segment and region, and work with distribution partners to deliver on these objectives.
- Work closely with Marketing to establish campaigns, road shows and events needed in each country and client segment, being a key spokesperson for these events and roadshows.
- Work with sales to identify opportunities through thought leadership, education, data analysis and work towards the most effective solutions for the client.
- Work very closely with research and innovation to share market feedback and client needs, for them to develop new products with a strategic vision - beyond individual deal making.
- Partner with sales to create a clear “Go To Market” plan for any new product or ask.
- Maximise market awareness.
- Monitor flows, competition and client needs to develop and maintain an appropriate commercial coverage and product suite.
- Monitor competitor launches and filings to discuss market needs with the Product team.
- Bottom Up and transversal sharing of client needs, key asks and market sentiment on products and range.
- Partner with Content Marketing to deliver relevant content (presentations, direct emailing, thought leadership…) to clients linking macro trends to product implementation themes.
- Be a constant force – continuously search out new narratives and hooks to best promote and position the segments; deliver key messages to sales and clients.
- Produce research/analysis supporting the equity product range.
