We are seeking a Developer with strong communication and customer-facing skills, who is eager to learn and grow within the Financial Services sector. This role offers the chance to work closely with front office users, including traders, risk analysts, and operational staff, providing significant exposure to a variety of foreign exchange-related financial products. The ideal candidate will have experience in C# or Java, possess some SQL knowledge, and have a keen interest in financial markets.
Key Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
- Participate in projects to develop and enhance the feature set of our front‑office systems for foreign exchange trading.
- Manage a variety of dev ops‑style and BAU project deliveries within the Jetstream ecosystem.
- Automate the generation of release notes and scripts for changing passwords across Jetstream environments.
- Transition Java code from using Ant to Maven and integrate with SonarQube for improved code quality.
- Implement a new deployment process for Java code, inspired by the SharpFX team's system.
- Develop a dynamic web page to display streaming indicative prices from Solace with an appropriate tier applied.
