Key Responsibilities
- Managing the internal operations of the firm, including Middle Office, Settlement, and IT (including cybersecurity).
- Responsibility for business continuity planning, operational continuity, resilience, and strategy.
- Oversight of the firm’s outsourcing activities and legal department.
- Reporting to the firm’s Board on operational topics and issues, including oversight of FACTA/CRS matters (‘Responsible Officer’).
- Management of the firm’s Operational Resilience Self-Assessment.
- Coordination and oversight of Amundi (UK) Limited’s arrangements to support clients, particularly Client Service Function and Middle Office Function.
- Ensuring appropriate reporting organisation to meet regulator’s expectations regarding MiFID reporting (internal) and EMIR reporting (outsourced to CACEIS), including quality assessments.
Principle Accountabilities
- As a member of London Management, contribute to the overall running of business development, ensuring effective governance structures, systems, and controls are developed and operated.
- Deputise for the Chief Executive of Amundi (UK) Limited where required.
- Set and follow high standards of conduct.
- Stay updated with regulatory requirements and proactively obtain legal/compliance advice.
- Delegate responsibilities, clearly specifying issues to be escalated.
- Encourage a culture that ensures appropriate client support and drives positive behaviours from Amundi (UK) Limited employees.
- Responsible for systems and controls of Amundi (UK) Ltd, including financial affairs, information security, risk exposure, adherence to internal systems and controls, procedures, and policies, and reporting to Amundi (UK) Ltd Board.
- Implement effective systems and controls, providing guidance on issues to be escalated.
- Promptly resolve compliance/control issues and enhance related policies, systems, and controls as necessary.
- Effectively supervise the competence and conduct of employees.
- Apply supervisory techniques, including monitoring, to identify and deter potential non-compliant behaviour.
- Monitor the performance of delegated employees to assess their suitability and competence for their roles.
- Enhance competence by providing and/or supporting internal and external training and supervision and/or mentoring as appropriate.
