The London Rates Middle Office Analyst supports the Global Markets Division trading desks by ensuring timely and accurate trade capture, amendments, cancellations, and lifecycle event processing in Front Office systems. Operating in a fast-paced, international environment, your role will be to facilitate and smooth the processing of the operations in the processing chains by helping to streamline trade processing and provide effective support. Responsibilities include accurate trade booking, first-level control and risk oversight, and involvement in business development initiatives such as new market entry, product launches, and adapting to regulatory changes. The role also includes front-line support for booking issues and participation in strategic projects.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Validation / Booking
- First level of trade input control in Front Office systems (manual bookings)
- Ensure exhaustiveness of daily captures
- Ensure exhaustiveness of Term-sheets sent to other Rates & Equity Middle Office teams
- Modifications in Front Office systems (valuation impact control)
- Trade Lifecycle Management (booking of events in Front Office systems)
- Supervision of exercises and expiries of trade options
- Investigation & follow-up on breaks and requests sent by Back Office or other Middle Office.
- Collateral reporting on a weekly basis
- Monitoring of the Mandatory Clearing Process in MarkIT Wire
- Monitoring of the Regulatory reporting to DFA & EMIR
- Control and coordination of the CVA fees Process
- Support for Front Office (reporting, monitoring, creation of counterparties, etc…)
- Ensure the controls and procedures put in place to support the business and reduce operational risk

- Experience: Previous Middle Office on Interest Rates Derivatives.
